The comprehensive structural guidelines, issued directly by the Office of the Registrar, explicitly declare an immediate halt to all conventional university-linked bachelor’s degree tracks within the college ecosystem. Furthermore, the administration has completely barred any direct admissions into either the 100 or 200 levels for these degree paths, effectively ending a decades-long setup that allowed conventional universities to award degrees through localized college partnerships. Moving forward, the regulatory framework mandates that any individual seeking a qualification through a College of Education must explicitly enroll in the foundational NCE track.
To mitigate the immediate operational impact on thousands of active applicants already caught in the current selection cycle, specific remedial transfer pathways have been established with a strict completion deadline. Candidates who initially applied for direct entry degree options at these centers are permitted to modify their choices through a free institutional correction window. These affected individuals have the option to migrate directly to the main campus of the parent university to which their program was originally affiliated, or alternatively, elevate their selected second-choice institution to primary status for immediate processing.
Similarly, Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination candidates seeking freshman placement have been presented with clear options to adjust their academic trajectory.
