Celebrity designer, Veekee James has officially announced the arrival of her first child with her husband, Femi Atere. The couple, who have been at the center of media attention since their viral wedding, shared the news of their daughter’s birth on Wednesday.
In an emotional Instagram post, Veekee James revealed that their baby girl, named Eliana Adeife Atere, was born on May 2, 2026.

Beyond the announcement, Veekee James took a moment to explain the spiritual significance of her daughter’s name. She noted that “Eliana” is a combination of “EL” (God) and “ANA” (He has answered), which translates to “My God has answered.”
To further underscore the journey to motherhood, she referenced 1 Samuel 1:27: “For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him.”
