The Federal Government has announced another voluntary evacuation of Nigerians from South Africa.
The exercise will be carried out by Air Peace.
A total of 270 Nigerians are expected to return home.
The returnees are scheduled to arrive in Lagos on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
The evacuation is the fourth under the government’s voluntary repatriation programme.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the development on Monday.

Ministry spokesperson Kimiebi Imomotimi Ebienfa released the official statement.
The aircraft will depart Lagos for Johannesburg on Tuesday, July 7, at 3:30 p.m.
It is expected to leave Johannesburg with the returnees at midnight.
The flight is scheduled to land at Murtala Muhammed International Airport around 5:00 a.m. on July 8.
The government said the evacuation is strictly voluntary and is for Nigerians who wish to return home.
Officials added that more evacuation flights could be arranged if more citizens request repatriation.
