The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has restated the conditions foreigners must satisfy before they can enter the country in 2026.
The requirements are contained in Cabinet Resolution No. 65 of 2022, which provides the executive regulations for Federal Law by Decree No. 29 of 2021 on the Entry and Residence of Foreigners.
Key requirements include a valid passport or travel document with at least six months validity for non-residents, an approved entry visa or residence permit, and a return or onward ticket where applicable. Certain nationalities may benefit from exemptions approved by the Cabinet.
These rules remain in force as the UAE continues to regulate the entry and stay of foreign nationals. Travellers are advised to ensure full compliance with the stipulated conditions to avoid any issues at the point of entry.
The UAE remains a major destination for tourism, business and residence, and the clear entry guidelines are designed to maintain orderly immigration processes while facilitating legitimate travel.
