Veteran Nollywood actor Charles Okocha has dismissed claims by singer Portable that he bit him during their recent Chaos in the Ring boxing rematch.
In a humorous response during a media interview that has gone viral, Okocha rejected the allegation and questioned how such a thing could have happened.
“Portable has been going around telling people I bit him on the back. But I was wearing a mouthguard—how is that even possible? I’d rather chew grass than bite him. I don’t want to catch rabies,” he said.

Okocha’s witty reply has drawn laughter and widespread reactions online, with many fans praising him for handling the situation with humour rather than aggression.
The comment comes after Okocha was declared the winner of the rematch when Portable refused to return to the ring. The bout had already generated massive attention due to the earlier encounter between the two entertainers.
While Portable has continued to make claims about the fight, Okocha’s latest statement appears aimed at putting the matter to rest in a light-hearted manner.
The exchange between the two has kept the conversation around the celebrity boxing event alive on social media.
