Starbase Technologies has launched Yolly, a new social entertainment platform that rewards users for watching, streaming and creating content.
The company said the platform is designed to build a more inclusive creator economy by allowing viewers, creators and brands to benefit from meaningful online engagement
Yolly aims to change the traditional social media model by giving every user not just popular influencers the opportunity to earn from their activities on the platform.
Developed by Starbase Technologies, the platform introduces Stars, its native digital rewards currency. Users earn Stars by watching videos, livestreaming and creating original content.
Unlike many social media platforms, Yolly allows creators to start earning from their very first livestream. It also offers monetisation tools such as gifting, Boosts and the Founder Creator Badge to help new creators grow their communities.
Viewers can also earn rewards through the platform’s Watch+ feature, which grants Stars for watching content from their first session.
For advertisers, Yolly offers a transparent advertising system with real-time performance dashboards, per-minute analytics and brand safety controls to measure audience engagement more accurately.
Speaking on the launch, Head of Business at Yolly, Emeka Okenwa, said the platform was built to reward genuine participation while promoting safe, family-friendly content.
He said Yolly is designed to create a more rewarding creator economy driven by authentic communities rather than algorithms alone.
The platform features content across entertainment, sports, lifestyle, education, technology and live events. Starbase Technologies said Yolly will make digital monetisation more accessible while creating a fairer and more sustainable online ecosystem
