Fulham have completed the signing of Spanish striker Gonzalo Garcia from Real Madrid in a deal worth around €40 million ($46 million).
The 22-year-old has signed a contract until the summer of 2031, with the Premier League club holding the option to extend it by another year.
As part of the agreement, Real Madrid will receive 30 percent of any future transfer fee if Fulham decide to sell the forward.
Garcia will reunite with Fulham manager Alvaro Arbeloa, who coached him during his time in Real Madrid’s youth setup before taking charge at Craven Cottage this summer.
The striker enjoyed an impressive 2025/26 season, scoring eight goals for Real Madrid’s first team, including a hat-trick against Real Betis in La Liga.
Speaking after completing the move, Garcia expressed his excitement and thanked Fulham’s board and Arbeloa for believing in him.
Fulham have also strengthened their squad with the signing of 21-year-old attacking midfielder César Palacios from Real Madrid.
The departures are part of a major squad overhaul at the Spanish giants under new manager José Mourinho after the club failed to win a major trophy in each of the last two seasons.
